NWLCRA March 3, 2015 Meeting
6:30 PM, Country Tavern Barbecue
Our meeting was March 3, 2015 and Ken Braswell, President of our local Northwest Louisiana Collision Repair Association, opened our meeting with the reading of the Anti-Trust Law. Mark Monroe, Collision Instructor with Bossier Parish School of Technology and Innovative Learning, gave our prayer. Taylynn Olsen and Abigail Shepherd led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Bill Burnside with Colormaster made a motion to provide morning beverages and snacks during the upcoming High School Competition SKILLS USA and the post-secondary or college SKILLS USA Collision Industry competition, up to a two hundred dollar cap. Chris Fielder with Fielder Paint & Body seconded the motion. A motion was made and seconded that extended the current Officers for a second term. These Officers are:
Ken Braswell - President
Kevin Adams - Vice President
Krystal Adams - Secretary/Treasurer
Our guest speaker was Thad Greer with SingleSource. He presented a PowerPoint presentation of a survey completed by the East Texas Collision Repair Association. Questions on the survey covered items such as charging for washing the vehicle on the estimate and whether payment was recovered, buffing out debris and if paid, etc. Others in the industry have expressed interests in this survey. We will keep you updated if we get any more results from this survey.
