New business discussions covered the upcoming 3rd Annual Southern Automotive Conference in Biloxi, Mississippi, possibly April 17-18, a story by CNN concerning the Collision Industry to be aired possibly Thursday, January 8, and membership dues for the Northwest Louisiana Collision Repair Association 2015 are due.
Our guest speaker was Arthur Harris with DEG, Database Enhancement Gateway via webinar. We had a tour and demonstration of degweb.org by Mr. Harris. Several scenarios were researched using degweb.org. We were able to see information about the issue, date filed, date resolved, what outcome was, and when major vendor's database changes were expected to be updated to show changes. A very nice feature, among many, was if the insurance estimate was written on Autotec, CCC, or Mitchell, the procedure pages for all were readily available for comparison on degweb.org. DEG is fully funded and is totally free for the Collision Industry.
Arthur Harris with degweb.org can be contacted at www.degweb/contact.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
